GTCOTR funds various projects and the daily feeding of 900 school children and staff at Christ for India in Vishakhapatnam, in the state of Andhra Pradesh in Southeast India. CFI began in 1981 and now has offices in 7 nations. CFI exists to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission to India by training nationals as pastors and evangelists, establishing native churches, providing humanitarian aid, and educating India’s future leadership in the face of increasing financial, political, and socio-religious challenges.

In 2017, COTR Water Well Ministries partnered with 700 Club/Operation Blessing and Christ for India to complete 17 water wells in villages where related churches are using the water wells as a means of sharing the love of Christ with their communities.

In November this year, a team of 50 from GTCOTR led by Dr. Hammonds are returning to India. The team will conduct multiple campaigns to enrich the lives of the students and workers who live on the CFI campus. These campaigns include Construction, Vacation Bible School, Youth Conference, Teachers Conference, Medical Assessments, and teaching and ministering in local Village Churches. Dr. Hammonds will also be teaching a course in the COTR Seminary.
