Missions Department Church on the Rock Missionaries: Bishop Musa Njuguna - Charismata Revival Ministries, Kenya, East Africa Bishop Musa Njuguna heard the gospel for the first time in 1959 at a revival given by a missionary from the Republic of South Africa and accepted Christ as his Savior. After completing school and finishing college, Dr. Njuguna, being the eldest son, put his brothers and sisters through school. Later he was called to preach the gospel, following in the footsteps of his father. Soon he became the overseer for a ministry where he began to feel burdened for church planting and evangelism in the nation of Kenya and the East African region.  Supported primarily by COTR, Dr. Njuguna has a team of 15 full time ministers and has planted 270+ churches among more than 21 different tribes.  He has been a ministry friend of Dr R. Box 1228 Nederland, TX 77627, USA Web: www.charismatarevivals.blogspot.com                         ------------------------------------------------------------------ Mike and Jude Kelly - Missionaries to Philippines Retired YMCA director Mike Kelly and his wife Jude, an RN and COTR's former parish nurse, are ministering the Gospel and providing practical, much needed help to ILOILO, Philippines.  Sent out by Church on the Rock and working through Calvary International, the Kellys, both Church on the Rock ordained ministers, are conducting community medical outreaches, working in community health and development, teaching leaders and missions trainees, and helping over 250 street children through the Sonshine Center.  These children live in what are called "squatter" villages, and many sort though the city dump to find food and anything that will help them live.  The Kelly's are also working with over 75 families living in a relocation village as refugees from flood areas caused by a recent typhoon.  The Sonshine Center is truly a place of hope for the hopeless and many are coming to the Lord through the Kelly's ministry. Ralph and Annie are missionaries to the Buriram Province and working with a church in Prakhonchai. They are experiencing a great revival there and seeing God move in a great way. They have seen the church grow from 120 people to over 300 within the last 2 years. Many are getting saved every week. They also support and help widows with small children, families who have been outcast by their relatives, elderly people who need help, and children that are serving God full time in their churches. After separating himself from old contacts and ways, he began meeting with God and searching His Word. He has since graduated from Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas. God has called Kyle to join in a great harvest of souls in Colombia, South America. This past summer he visited and ministered on the streets all over the country and saw hundreds of people make decisions for Christ. Kyle has been working with Pastor Juan Salas in a young fast growing church in Periera, Colombia for 12 months.  Kyle saw over 300 people led to the Lord and ministered to the hurting through street evangelism, discipleship, and preaching.  As Kyle begins his second year of missions work in Colombia, he will continue to work with Pastor Salas and with numbers of other outreaches all over Columbia.   Kyle Trahan c/o Church on the Rock P.O. He accepted Christ in 1988 while living at an orphanage after the death of his mother. His calling is to plant churches and train others to do the same. Presently he is the Senior Pastor of SARA Church on the Rock in Kathmandu, oversees many churches, SARA Missions Training Center, and SARA Children's Home. The Training Center has trained and graduated 24 church leaders and in April began training another 15.  Through the faithful support of members of COTR, and other individuals and churches, 28 orphans are supported at SARA Children's Home. In the summer of 1993, together with an initial team of 34 which conducted evangelistic street meetings and evening meetings in a large auditorium, the Benliens and team planted a successful church. Hundreds received Christ and thousands of Russian Bibles were given away to the spiritually hungry and precious people of the Mari-El Republic. The Benliens pastored YOCC for three years. Today, the church is a thriving and regionally influential church which continues to be supported by COTR.
