Douglas Rivera- Honduras and Local Hispanic Outreach
Doug ministers in his native country of Honduras and to local Hispanic congregations.  In addition to evangelistic outreaches and prison ministry in Honduras and the United States, Doug works with schools and orphanages in impoverished communities in Honduras to supply them with playground equipment, school supplies, and practical items for use such as ceiling fans for dormitories, clothing, household goods, and first aid kits.

Toy for a Child in Honduras

Douglas is heading up a toy drive foe the orphaned, homeless, and underprivileged children in his home country of Honduras.  All money that is donated to this cause will be sent to Pastor Allan Lorenzana from Iglesia CCI.  The  church will then purchase and distribute those toys to the children who may otherwise receive nothing for Christmas.

Feed the Hungry and Save the Lost Jail Ministry Project

This is an ongoing project established by a local pastor whose vision is to minister Jesus to the incarcerated by first feeding their bodies and then their spirits.  Typically these inmates receive small rations of undesirable food, so they are very thankful to have a good meal and often become receptive to the gospel through this ministry.  your gift of $500 will allow 150 inmates to hear the Word of God.

$500 (D165)

Adopt a Local Church Project

Many Hispanic churches here in Southeast Texas are dilapidated and in great need of repair.  The money designated for this project will be spent locally and used to buy things such as lumber, paint, metal roofing, seating, and sound equipment to better equip our Hispanic brothers and sisters as they share the gospel here in the Golden Triangle.
